Mexico Production Trip — March 2019
On our latest production trip we brought two photographers along to document our process!
By Sara Berks
This trip I brought along two different photographers to document our work in Mexico. First up, I spent a week in Oaxaca with Katie James, George Underwood, and Reggie McCafferty. Katie is a dear friend and the resident MINNA stylist. George has been photographing MINNA's work since back when I was weaving every piece myself. It was so incredibly special to bring them along to see this side of MINNA.
Next, I spent a week in Chiapas. I've been working on developing our new bedding collection for the past year and it was incredible to see it coming to life. I brought Skye Parrott along to document a few of our workshops here.
Overall, it was such a treat to bring photographers along. It felt important to be able to tell the story with incredible imagery. We think you'll agree! :)
