What do you do at MINNA?
I’m a Retail Associate—I help with customers in the shop on Warren st! I’m also beginning to help out in our warehouse.

How did you get started with MINNA?
After graduating college in spring 2020 – I found myself moving back to my hometown due to the growing pandemic the world faced. Once things began opening up again this fall, I found that MINNA was looking for retail help and was so overjoyed to find a brand in the Hudson Valley whose ethics really aligned with mine. I feel so lucky to be part of the MINNA team!

What does working ethically mean to you?
It means being open to learning and listening. I think that in order to work ethically we have to check in with one another every step of the way to make sure everyone feels they are heard.

An unexpected day off looks like…
Sleeping in and having a couple cups of coffee. If weather permits, a walk while listening to a podcast or audiobook. Catch up with friends on a zoom or phone call. And ending the day by visiting the pygmy goats at Greig Farm!

I love baking! Cakes and quickbreads are my specialty.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received? The best piece of advice you give?
received: It’s simple but nothing is more important in life than the Golden Rule we all learned in kindergarten—treat others the way you want to be treated!

given: No matter how tired I am I always wash my face and brush my teeth before bed! It’s the most simple self-care I recommend everyone implement into their lives.
