In Uruguay, we partner with two artisan groups to create our best-selling Abstract Throws. A group in Flores hand weaves the blanket base and then it's transferred to another group to do the needle felting in Trinidad. Using a large template laid atop the blanket, they create each of the shapes by hand felting with a needle, puncturing the blanket many times very quickly.

These two artisan groups are part of the organization Manos del Uruguay, a non-profit working with 12 artisan-led cooperatives throughout rural Uruguay.
