Useful, colorful and machine washable. The newest addition to MINNA’s ever-popular Meridian collection. Made of 100% cotton in three vibrant colors featuring the textured grid we know and love. Inspired by gridlines on a map and the color of birds, these aprons are as eye catching as they are durable.

Features two long ties that thread through button loops for a custom fit, a pocket, and a loop for your coordinating tea towel. Handwoven by a family run cooperative in Larráinzar, Mexico.

Made by Pedal Loom Weavers in Larráinzar, Mexico

In Larráinzar we work with two family-run cooperatives of weavers. The first workshop we began working with is one of the largest we’ve ever seen in Mexico with roughly 20-30 operating looms and employing many weavers in the region. Looking out at the mountains below, the view from atop the workshop is one of our favorites.

About these artisans

Both workshops use pedal looms and 100% cotton threads. By partnering with a second workshop in Llarráinzar, we have been able to expand our production capacity and employ additional weavers in the community.
