Made by Pedal Loom Weavers in Zinacantán, Mexico

The weavers in Zinacantán are just a short walk from the town’s central square. They have a large home workshop with six pedal looms and a small sewing workshop, run by a husband and wife team. They employ several weavers in the community and even have a small yarn store that allows community members to purchase thread more easily.

About these artisans

We began our partnership with cotton pillows and, because of the popularity of products produced here, expanded our partnership to include our grid-patterned kitchen textiles. We then employ a sewing workshop in San Cristobal to cut and sew many of our kitchen pieces.
