Our Stripes Pillowcases Clay are handwoven by a family run workshop in the village of Larrainzar in Chiapas, Mexico and expertly sewn together by a workshop just outside of San Cristobal. Pillows have a contrasting stripe backside - perfect for layering! Pair with the Stripe Duvet Clay or mix-and-match with our other bedding styles!

Made by Pedal Loom Weavers in Larráinzar, Mexico

In Larráinzar we work with two family-run cooperatives of weavers. The first workshop we began working with is one of the largest we’ve ever seen in Mexico with roughly 20-30 operating looms and employing many weavers in the region. Looking out at the mountains below, the view from atop the workshop is one of our favorites.

About these artisans

Both workshops use pedal looms and 100% cotton threads. By partnering with a second workshop in Llarráinzar, we have been able to expand our production capacity and employ additional weavers in the community.
